Setting of Decal works

1. Tweezer (핀셋)
2. Water tray (워터 트레이)

CIPES's tweezers

Among CIEPL's stainless tweezers, the above two are suitable for decal work (yellow).

CIEPL 사의 스텐레스 핀셋 중 위의 두가지가 데칼 작업에 적당합니다.

Tweezers with a round tip are convenient to use to separate decals from paper before soaking in water 

and to attach large size decals.

끝이 둥근 형태의 핀셋은 물에 불리기 전에 데칼을 용지에서 분리하는 용도 및

크기가 큰 데칼을 붙일때 사용하기 편합니다.

Precision tweezers with a sharp tip are for moving small decals smaller than the size of a thumb nail.

끝이 뾰족한 정밀 핀셋은 엄지 손톱 크기 이하의 작은 크기의 데칼들을 낚시하듯이 집어서 옮기는 용도입니다.

The tweezers should be precisely aligned at the ends so that the decal can be picked up easily.

핀셋은 끝단이 정확하게 일치해서 데칼을 쉽게 집어 올릴 수 있어야 합니다.

You should be able to do this easily when holding the edge of the decal and lifting it.

데칼의 가장자리를 잡고 들었을때 쉽게 되어야 합니다.

There are two ways to move the decal to the target location.

(1) Pick-up method (낚시질)

It is useful for small size decals. It is good to pick up edge corner. 

작은 크기의 데칼을 옮길때 유용합니다. 가장자리 모서리 부분을 잡고, 

You can lift the decal with the feeling that the plane is taking off.

비행기가 이륙한다는 느낌으로 부드럽게 들어올리시면 됩니다.

If lifted vertically, the decal can be folded.

수직으로 들어올리면 데칼이 접힐 수 있으니 주의가 필요합니다.

Pickup method

(2) Pull-paper method (밑장 빼기)

Suitable for large size decals. 

큰 크기의 데칼을 옮길때 사용하면 좋습니다. 

Use your thumb to fix the decal slightly and remove the blue base paper by gently pulling it with tweezers.

엄지로 데칼의 표면을 살짝 잡은 후에 핀셋으로 파란색의 대지를 가볍게 당겨서 빼내면 됩니다.

This is a flowerpot holder used as a water tray.

워터 트레이로 사용하고 있는 화분 받침 입니다.
The low height makes it easy to move your arms while working.

높이가 낮아서 작업할때 팔의 움직임이 쉽습니다.
It also has the advantage of being able to purchase it at a low price at places like Daiso.

다이소 같은 곳에서 저렴한 가격에 구입할 수 있다는 장점도 있습니다.

Setting of Decal works

The water tray is divided into two stages, so it is convenient to soak the decal.

워터 트레이는 두 단계로 나눠서 데칼을 소킹하면 편합니다.
The deep side is used to fully wet the decal at first, 

and the lower side is used to adjust the amount of water by placing the soaked decal on it.

깊은 쪽은 처음에 데칼을 완전히 적시는 용도로 사용하고,

낮은 쪽은 소킹한 데칼을 올려두어 물의 양을 적당히 조절 하는 용도로 사용하고 있습니다.

Adhesives and softeners for decals

Depending on the manufacturer of the decal, the working strength of the decal softener will vary.

데칼의 제조사에 따라서 데칼 연화제의 작동 강도는 다양합니다.
I recommend Mark Fit. 

저는 마크 핏을 추천합니다.

Because you can control the degree of softening. (From Normal to Super Strong)

연화되는 정도를 조절할 수 있기 때문입니다. (노말에서 슈퍼 스토롱까지)
It also includes decal adhesion function.

데칼 접착 기능도 포함되어 있습니다.

 

cotton swab

It is convenient to use a cotton swab by squeezing it again after soaking it in water.

면봉은 물에 적신 후에 다시 꽉 짜내서 사용하면 편합니다.

It was convenient to use by cutting the “brass rod?” to the same length as the cotton swab 

and inserting the finish master (white sponge) at the end.

"황동봉?"을 면봉 길이와 동일하게 자른 후 끝에 피니쉬 마스터 (하얀 스펀지)을 끼워서 사용하니까 편했습니다. 

You can switch between the cotton swab and the fish master depending on the situation.

면봉과 피시쉬 마스터를 상황에 맞게 바꿔가며 사용하면 됩니다.
